Still More Feedback

Saturday 01/22/2005 2:32 PM

I visited two friends yesterday (names withheld in case they are easily embarrassed by this sort of thing, but they are both wonderful women) who returned marked-up copies of "Unscattering" to me. I enjoyed a brief chat with one and much longer page-by-page discussion with the other.

Have I mentioned I love feedback?

Missed a call from my sister this morning — I was asleep. Hopefully, we'll be able to have another analysis/discussion session this weekend about my book.

I'm getting grounded in my approach as I settle in for the long hall of writing the many-storied first part of the book. My goal is to have 40,000 continuous words from the beginning of the book by mid-summer so I can start trying to find an agent.
