"Strong work... Really strong work."

Friday 02/11/2005 1:50 AM

And with those words at the end his message, my friend, Mark, made my day.

Mark finished Unscattering in a day — the fastest yet anyone has gotten back to me. No, it's not a race, but still much appreciated.

He thought I did a good job of capturing a lot of the aspects of the human-animal connection and (like I'm hearing more and more these days) is anxious to see the rest of the book.

Guess I need to write some more!

And in other news... While doing some work for a client this evening, my machine got infiltrated by some type of virus/spyware/adware/nuisance-from-hell that has completely debilitated my copy of Internet Explorer. Now if I wasn't a web developer, it'd be good riddance, but I need it to test stuff I'm working on. So four hours later, I'm still struggling to get my system working again.

Grrrrrr....

And, oh, BTW, in case you didn't click the thumbnail, today's feline-themed image is of Mark's best buddy, Ernie, who shuffled off his mortal coil not long after Chaunce. So when you say your prayers tonight, say a couple kind words for The Ernster.

File Under: Borrow, Mark; Technology Stinks!; Writing Feedback
