Dinner In Park City

Monday 05/01/2006 3:32 PM

Alright, back in Park City.

That night, Saturday, Candy and I showed up a few minutes early for our 5:30 reservation at Wahso (yes, it's true that they were identified as one of the ten best restaurants in the world by Fodor's) and got seated right away. She wasn't feeling good and ended up making it a cheap date for me.

We were able to score one of the private booths along the wall with the curtains you can pull across so you can be alone with your dinner date(s). Simply splendid.

Your Link of the Day is to the menu at Wahso and I had the following that night:

The soup was great — they add just enough coconut milk to temper the spiciness of the lemongrass. When I ordered my entree, I asked our waiter if he could talk me out of getting the rib-eye. He said he wouldn't try as it is delicious, and he was right as rain.

Speaking of our waiter, I wish I could remember his name because he was marvelous. The food was pretty good, but he was truly world class and made our dinner enchanting.

Highly recommended.

Today is my cousin Braelyn's birthday. Happy Birthday, Braelyn! (She's 14 years old.)
