Album Cover Thumbnail Image for U2 'Zooropa'

Probably the most underappreciated U2 album (not counting that Passengers project, which wasn't a proper U2 release). The creative juices were overflowing for the band when they were touring in support of their amazing Achtung Baby album. Shannon and I were lucky enough to see the very first concert of the Zoo TV tour in Lakeland, long before it metastasized into the legendary Outside Broadcast version in stadiums around the world. During a break in the tour, U2 recorded a new album, Zooropa, inspired by their touring experience. The songs are loose and free and varied and wonderful.
