Tori Amos

Blast from the past. Yeah, it's a CD single, but one of the greatest ever. First, you get a couple fantastic songs from Tori's breakout album, Little Earthquakes, but even better are the other three songs. It's classic rock time and you can't find these three covers anywhere else. You've got The Rolling Stones' "Angie" and Led Zeppelin's "Thank You", but it's track number four that'll floor you: Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" performed by Tori and her piano. Yeah, a lot of people trumpet this track for no other reason than we can finally uderstand what Kurt Cobain was singing, but, folks, let me tell ya, there is so much more to this. Awesome, awesome, awesome.
