Well, the Steelers lost the AFC championship to the dynastic Patriots. Candy et al are utterly heart-broken.
Shannon and I never found each other for a phone call this weekend, but she promises better luck tomorrow (Monday) night.
Getting my bearings with "Asylum Moments" — so far, so good.
In the course of my research for the book this weekend, my eyes were opened to the realization that a long-dead, famous scientist can arguably be considered humanity's benefactor for the simple reason that he made our relationships with dogs significantly more secure. I was going to share more because I didn't think this would go into the book, but as I started to write up the details, I discovered I was wrong. So I shall leave you in anticipation.
