Given today's image, here is another requisite sample from Unscattering:
Watching Chaunce when he believes himself unobserved is fascinating — my Rorschach — as I project an array of thoughts, emotions, problems and daydreams onto him, in him. Reading the undecipherable book by simply marvelling at the pages — the illuminations along the edge often more beautiful than the content itself. And my prayers at these times contain but a single word: Rosetta.
Of course, in the book, I'm writing about the famed Rosetta Stone that allowed us to understand those whose language was lost to us.
Oh, here's an additional link for those who aren't familiar with the term Rorschach.
Based on the feedback I got on Unscattering (thanks again for all that lovely feedback), it appears several of you didn't understand my usage of these two terms. So I will be explaining them in detail earlier in the book. That way when I use them in Unscattering, the reader shouldn't be confused by what I'm saying.
