Argus Crashed

Thursday 12/15/2005 2:01 PM

More instant gratification goodness from the Panasonic DMC-LX1K Digital Camera. It is so wonderful to be able to take impromptu shots like this and then put them up online for you a few minutes later.

Take a look at this picture of Argus and compare it to this picture of Sheriff. Both were taken without a flash in low light conditions with the primary light source being an incandescent bulb. Notice the yellow cast on the Sheriff image? Notice how the Argus picture looks light daylight is casting shadows on the floor? So what's the difference? It's the bulb. Specifically, the GE Reveal, which is designed to filter out the dull yellow cast of normal light bulbs. They're more expensive, but, man, I am so sold on these things. Especially for pictures.
