To Save Us All From Satan's Powers

Wow! Is that a great picture for today's post or what? Lovin' the camera. While this is probably the best picture of Sheriff, it still isn't my favorite. That prize goes to the image of him in the cemetery is still my favorite (but remember, kids, context is everything, so you should really view it along with the accompanying text from my original blog post).

I'd like to take a moment to call your attention to a simply spectacular Christmas CD. It is called A Winter Garden and it is performed by Loreena McKennitt. There are only 5 songs on it, but they are all 100% acoustic magic. In particular, her six minute and forty-seven second version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" always transports me to faraway places. Click on the Music link below to read more and access the Amazon link.

I can not recommend this CD highly enough.

Candy and I usually don't do much for each other for Christmas, but I did manage to sneak off today and get her something she really wants from World Market. No, that's not life-size, and you better not tell.

Don't worry, she never reads this blog.
