 Candy has some type of rootbound tropical plant that has grown to be about nine feet tall. We finally planted it in the ground a last month. This is a shot of the tightly-knit root system that had conformed to the shape of the huge plastic planter that had contained it for the last seven or eight years. Happy Pi Day!
I believe this is the only time of the year when we have 4 holidays and/or pseudo-holidays in a row. At least it's the only time we have four in a row that I choose to recognize. Because if you scrounge around enough, I'm sure you could find five in a row, such as:
- International Ask A Question Day
- Absolutely Incredible Kid Day
- Freedom of Information Day
- International Day of the Seal
- Forgive Mom and Dad Day
Good thing no one would ever come up with ridiculous holidays like those five days in a row.
