Candy's had pain in her left hip and leg for the last couple of months. Long story short, she got a couple MRI images taken last week. The verdict is:
- a partially ruptured disc
- and an annular tear in another disc
Both in her lower back.
She has an appointment Monday for a nerve study, which should provide more definitive information regarding whether she is going to go the surgery route or the pain management route.
Her doctor is starting her today on a round of steroids to reduce some of the inflammation (and hopefully the pain as well).
