In the Weeds

At first, it was a bit unnerving seeing how thick the vegetation was in the parts of the river. Like that time Alex dropped his snorkel in the part of Wakulla Springs where you're not supposed to swim. Unfortunately, the lifeguard said I could get it and I had to man up and be the hero by diving into the thick underwater weeds. That experience kept returning to me time and again as we glided over the acres of underwater growth.
