Just A Lazy, Foggy Night

Wednesday 02/16/2005 12:31 AM

Fog in the neighborhood. Can't see up the street. Times like this find me flashing back to John Carpenter's The Fog or Stephen King's The Mist.

Caught an ace-high heart flush on Valentine's Day and that qualified me for an invitation-only tournament tonight. Me and 3,473 of my closest friends duked it out for a seat at the World Series of Poker. I came in 851st. All-in with K-Kowboys and sucker with ace-ten suited beat me the hardest way — with the four card straight! Dag nab it!

Working. Writing. Same old, same old.

I'm outta here.
