A Favorite Picture

All my life, I remembered this picture of my dad from long ago. We had it in the house somewhere and I thought it was lost forever. Until Shannon sent it to me framed a few years back. Don't know where she found it.

Love this.

Yeah, I know it's one of those pictures that leads to more questions ("Where was you Dad?" "Alaska? Really? Why was he there?" "You lived there too?" and so on), but, Dear Friend and Reader, I'm afraid you'll just have to wait.

Chauncey would have been 15 years old today.

Happy Birthday, Old Man. I dreamed of you last nite. Still miss you bad.
