Not too long now and Alex and Shannon will be wandering out of the elevator, heading left down the curving hall and finding my open hotel door.
In the meantime, I thought I'd post a quick pic of my workspace — or at least the most interesting part of my workspace here in the room. In your image for this post you will see (from left to right):
- My laptop of the moment (borrowed from a client)
- Box of Kleenex (always get the sniffles this time of year, esp. while travelling)
- My groovy new cordless mouse (Logitech VX Revolution — highly recommended)
- Two pairs of headphones
- Another pair of headphones, white for Alex's iPod
- Alex's iPod (shhhhhh! it's a secret!)
- My new Loreena McKinnett CD
- My USB SD card reader for grabbing photos off my digital camera
- The 2-way headphone adapter I got so Alex and I can listen to his iPod at the same time
- My cellphone
- My GorillaPod (a special small tripod that can be wrapped around poles and such for mounting in unusual places)
- Of course, behind all these objects are my framed pictures of Argus, Sheriff, Chauncey and Alex
Well, they just walked in the door. So I gotta go.
