Wounded

Sunday 07/29/2007 8:50 PM

Can't type much. Woke up yesterday with what I thought was a spider bite in my armpit. Woke up today and it was bigger. Long story short: 'twas a cyst.

Went to Urgent Care at my HMO this morning and they cut me good. The physician's assistant left it open to drain and put only a light dressing on it. Now it hurts when I do just about anything with my right arm (I'm no southpaw).

You'll have to wait a bit for the drama I promised for today's post. In the meantime, enjoy the picture I took last night at The Greenway when Alex and I went out to shoot pictures of the full moon.

This shot was inadvertently a forty second exposure. The flash went off at the beginning and captured Alex and Argus. Then they walked away from the tripod in the dark while the streetlight off in the distance really soaked the censor over the next 39 seconds or so on the digital camera to give it that "on fire" effect.

Took some shots with the Holga as well — can't wait to see how they turn out.

File Under: Alex; Argus; Greenway, The; Health, My; Holga 120CFN; Photography
Music: U2 "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb"
